NextText Privacy Policy

Overview
NextText helps users generate replies, openers, and text suggestions from the keyboard. This privacy policy explains what information is used to provide the service.
Information You Provide
NextText may process text that you choose to type, paste, or submit inside the NextText keyboard or main app. This can include a message you want help replying to, a conversation opener prompt, or optional saved context you enter in the main app.
How Text Is Used
Text submitted to NextText is sent to our backend service and AI service provider to generate reply or opener suggestions. The text is used only to provide the requested suggestion.
What NextText Does Not Do
NextText does not read every message you type. It only processes text when you choose to use NextText features such as Reply, Reach Out, paste, or saved context.
NextText does not sell your personal information.
Saved Context
If you save extra context in the main app, it is stored using the app’s shared local storage so the keyboard can use it to improve suggestions. You can clear saved context from the main app at any time.
Keyboard Full Access
iOS requires third-party keyboards to request Full Access in order to connect to the internet. NextText needs Full Access to send your submitted text to the NextText service and return generated suggestions.
Purchases and Subscriptions
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. NextText does not receive or store your payment card information. Purchase status may be checked through Apple’s StoreKit services to unlock Pro access.
Analytics
NextText may store limited app usage events locally, such as whether a context was saved or a reply was generated. These events are used to understand app usage and improve the product. We do not use this information to track you across apps or websites.
Third-Party Services
NextText uses backend and AI service providers to generate text suggestions. Text you submit may be processed by those services only for the purpose of generating the requested response.
Data Security
NextText uses HTTPS for communication with its backend service. Please avoid submitting sensitive personal, financial, medical, legal, or confidential information into the app.
Children’s Privacy
NextText is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your Choices
- You can stop using the keyboard at any time.
- You can disable Full Access in iOS Settings.
- You can clear saved context from the main NextText app.
- You can delete the app to remove locally stored app data from your device.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
